Report Incidents of Bias/Discrimination/Hate

The City of Edmonds is interested in hearing about incidents of bias, discrimination or hate in our community. We will review each incident - first to determine if it involves potentially criminal activity, which would be forwarded to Edmonds Police.  Other incidents may be forwarded to other agencies or parties, such as the Washington State Human Rights Commission.  Whether we can offer resolution, or simply acknowledge and log the issue, learning about these incidents is important.  Knowledge is power.  Knowing more about these incidents may help the City develop policies, programs, activities and/or events that can help raise awareness and address inequities.

Please use this form to share information and incidents or concerns you have experienced or witnessed.  However, please refrain from naming individuals in your information.  It is not the City's intent to single out individuals, but rather to learn about incidents that affect our community.  If you provide your contact information, we can follow up with you to gather more details, as appropriate.

NOTE: if your issue is related to criminal activity, please contact the Edmonds Police Department directly by calling their non-emergency number, 425-407-3999, or 9-1-1 in case of emergencies.

Information provided here is of public record and could be disclosed if requested, pursuant to the Public Records Act, Chapter 42.56 RCW.  If you wish to remain anonymous, you need not fill in the name or email fields below. Note, however, that if you leave the email field blank, we may not be able to follow up with you regarding the matter.
