Court Hearings

ACCESS TO COURT PUBLIC SAFETY SAFEGUARDS:

Anyone who physically comes to the court area, which should only be occurring with permission or order of the court, must use hand sanitizer prior to entering the court area, will be screened by court security for a fever with a touchless thermometer, and must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth. The court will not be providing masks unless the defendant is indigent.

Virtually appear for court OR virtually publicly observe court :

OR follow below instructions.

  1. Fifteen minutes before your hearing, test your connection and make yourself available to speak to your attorney, either:
  2. log onto the Zoom app or website and click "Join a Meeting." If it asks you for a meeting ID, we have set the meeting ID as the courthouse phone number. Enter as it appears here 4257710210
  3. you will need (1) a computer with internet access and a camera, (2) a laptop with internet access and a camera, or (3) a smartphone with a camera.

(2) To participate by phone for a Remote Hearing:

  1. Fifteen minutes before your hearing call in to Zoom to make yourself available to speak to your attorney and test your connection.
  2. If you only have a telephone, you can still dial in to the hearing and the parties can hear you but not see you at the hearing, and you can hear those participating. You will be muted until your case is called or until your attorney needs to speak with you.
