TITLE VI: NOTICE OF NON-DISCRIMINATION

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title 23 CFR Part 200 and Title 49 CFR Part 21), as well as related statutes and regulations, prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age or disability. The City of Edmonds is committed to assuring no person shall be discriminated against or denied benefits of any program or activity, on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age or disability. The City further complies with additional state laws and assures that no person shall be discriminated against in its programs and activities based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, parental status, political ideology, creed, ancestry, participation in the Section 8 housing program, military status or veteran status, or due to breastfeeding in a public place.
