The City of Edmonds will propose specific code amendments to implement Edmonds' 2023 Climate Action Plan. Planning & Development staff worked with a consultant to formulate draft amendments based on best practices from other local governments. Possible amendments were evaluated for financial, resource, equity, and environmental implications.
The City anticipates introducing this code amendment package to City Council in 2024. Stay tuned for updates!
