The Department of Parks, Recreation and Human Services, located at the Frances Anderson Center, serves as the community's key resource for providing parks, open space, recreation programs and human services to ensure a healthy and active quality of life for the Edmonds citizens and visitors to the community to enjoy.
The Department plays a vital role in many aspects of community life, with staff liaisons to the Tree Board, the Edmonds Memorial Cemetery Board, the Planning/Parks Board, and the Edmonds Youth Commission. Click here for boards and commissions information.
The the Frances Anderson Center will be operating under amended hours from Monday, December 23 through Wednesday, January 1. Please see below for those hours:

Tuesday, December 24: Closed
Wednesday, December 25: Closed
Thursday, December 26: 8:30am-2pm
Friday, December 27: 8:30am-6:30p
Saturday, December 28: 8:30am-2pm
Monday, December 30: 8:30am-7:30pm
Tuesday, December 31: 8:30am-7:30pm
Wednesday, January 1: Closed
The Frances Anderson Center will reopen for our regular business hours of 8:30am-8:30pm on Thursday, January 2.
