2-1-1 washington

2-1-1 is a free confidential community service and your one-stop connection to local services for those in need. From rent/utility assistance, food, housing, healthcare, childcare and after school programs to elder care, crisis intervention and much more. Dial 2-1-1 from anywhere in Washington State and you will reach a highly trained information and referral specialist who will assess your needs and provide a list of referrals to available resources in your community.   TTY for the deaf and hard of hearing and interpreter services are also available in 140+ languages.

The Food Bank has two large distributions each week, as well as monthly pop-up events throughout the month and delivery service for qualified ADA/senior recipients, distributing food to between 300-400 households. Assisting people who are hungry in the City of Lynnwood and South Snohomish County by providing a highly efficient food distribution center. Collecting and distributing more than 1.3 million pounds of food each year to low-income children, adults and seniors.

Nourishing Network (for Edmonds school district families) 

Providing supplemental food for kids to take home from school including weekend meal kits, summer meal program, pop-up pantries and holiday meals. For more information, please talk with your School Resource Advocate.

 

westgate chapel emergency food bank 

Operates a food and clothing bank for the less fortunate on Thursdays from 11-2 . In addition to food and clothing, the food bank also provides some financial assistance, gasoline and community transit vouchers for appointments or job searches and/or grocery vouchers for specialized needs.

Bethesda Lutheran Church offers a Gleaning (free leftover food) program every Sunday from 4:00-5:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall to connect grocery stores with neighbors in need.

Food Lifeline of snohomish county (ywca)

Distributing thousands of emergency food boxes to anyone needing help keeping food on the table. The boxes contain fresh produce and assorted dairy items. Drive-up no-touch distribution and walk-up distribution.
