Aging Pipe Repairs Begins May 4 - Who's Affected?

Construction is expected to begin on the 2025 Combined Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) 
Rehabilitation Project May 4, 2026. The project is part of the City’s program to upgrade existing sewer lines and storm lines that are reaching the end of their useful service life and unable to meet current requirements or have other existing system deficiency.

The following is a list of city streets that will be impacted, along with type of utility work for that location:

-242nd St SW (approximately 300 ft north of 78th Pl W), N 205th St (near Panera Bread)
• Cured in place rehab of sewer main
-Park Road (east end of cul-de-sac), Shell Valley Road (near 21214 and 21210)
• Cured in place rehab of sewer main
-5th Ave S – from Maple Street to Dayton Street
• Cured in place rehab of sewer main
-Alleyway between Dayton St and Main St – from Durbin Dr to 6th Ave S
• Cured in place rehab of sewer main
-Alleyway between Main St and Bell St – from 7th Ave N to approximately 380 ft west
• Cured in place rehab of sewer main
-8605 185th Pl SW, 85th Pl W cul-de-sac (approximately 200 ft north of 186th St SW)
• Cured in place rehab of sewer main
-Between 19212 94th Pl W and 19218 94th Pl W
• Cured in place rehab of sewer main
-88th Ave W – from 192nd St SW to approximately 300 ft south
• Cured in place rehab of sewer main
-Bowdoin Way – from 93rd Pl W to approximately 100 ft east of 92nd Pl W
• Cured in place rehab of sewer main
-80th Ave W (near 18332), 7707 Olympic View Dr
• Cured in place rehab of sewer main
-10th Pl N – from Edmonds St to approximately 250 ft south
• Cured in place rehab of sewer main
-Between 22020 and 22130 Highway 99
• Cured in place rehab of sewer main
-80th Ave W – from 192nd St SW to 194th Pl SW
• Cured in place rehab of storm main

**Please keep in mind this work is weather-dependent, and the schedule is subject to change. 

Residents can expect the following impacts during construction:

• Noise from trucks and heavy machinery
• Traffic control flaggers and construction signs for vehicle and pedestrian safety around the work area with 
possible delays of up to 15 minutes
• Some parking will be impacted but “No Parking” signs will be placed prior to work beginning
• Driveway access will be maintained throughout the project but delays of up to 15 minutes should be 
expected
• Water service interruptions may be required, notification will be provided 24 hours in advance of interruptions
